SXSW 2009 SHOWCASING ARTIST - Auditorium Shores Stage (Lady Bird Lake) - Saturday, March 21 - 12:30 p.m.
Daddy A Go Go plays real rock and roll for kids and families. Guitars, bass, drums. Throw in the occaisonal Farfisa and Vox Organ for good measure, along with catchy tunes, some humor and inspiration from real life, and you got something everyone can dig. John Boydston is the former TV news producer turned stay-at-home dad who is Daddy A Go Go. Now, some 10-years and 6 CD's later, his two sons are getting into the act, playing live with Dad as the Daddy A Go Go Band. They are 16 and 14 now. When we first played SXSW two years ago they were 14 and 12.
