  • Quick question -  you mentioned that the ZrC has a lot of hardness, but what do you think of its elastic properties? Is it ductile like steel or is it more brittle than steel? Anyway great vid and thanks for uploading :)

  • @Agalois ZrC had NO ductile properties..... It is very hard but very fragile..... No as bad as glass but in that vicinity. Generally (98%) of the time anything that is very hard is fragile. Think of of hardness VS ductility as having an inverse relationship.

  • Cool knife, is the hardware aluminum/Ti so it can pass through metal detectors?

  • @hugo2x The liner is steel so there is just enough metal for the detectors to pick up....
