A Lymie Hit Piece
"Faalooowed by the Pawtluck lunches ahftawaards faaw the California fawfloers of Crraweleanity..."
"Certainly! from the point of view! of most of us who have a jobs! and pay a maaartgage"And you know! want to be a member! of the district council!..."
Why don't you go knock your foreheads to the Queen's shoes while the Archbishop disperses out tissues to dry your eyes. The propaganda and disinformation doesn't work on those who are awake.

I think what hooks people in is his worldliness and the amount of research he did. Eventually, you get a sense that for Crowley, it was more about the journey of discovery then attaining enlightenment. he did have many charlatan qualities, but I think his belief in magic was solid.

remember, these are people who met him, who knew him. All you people who have read about him and think this makes you experts are fools. He was a man who lived an extraordinary life. For god sake grow up and open your eyes.

There's something about him that he had the right thing but interpreted it in the light of the Oscar Wilde set of the late 19th century. He always sounds like a 1960s upper-class anarchist talking about anarchism and no laws horrified at homeless junkies actually living that way for real without Daddy's estate to fall back on.

VERY GOOD WELL DONE

It's a bit disappointing that the program's focus is on his magic, his drug use and sex life and his personality. I was hoping they'd discuss his work outside of the OTO such as his poetry and his work with British intelligence.
this narrarot is annoying....and wrong....crowley didnt take heroin for higher conscienceness...it was prescibed for his asthma by a phsycian which was a common practice in the early 2oth century

Dear Friend
I understand how this can be a wind up but try to keep your cool - had to remove other comment because of expletive. I think its difficult to deny that however AC started, he used all sorts of drugs for recreational, gnostic and health reasons.
I think Crowley himself admits to the cat sacrifice at Cefalu although it couldn't have been the source of Raoul Loveday's fatal typhoid fever
