Riding The Metro (or "Metro Ni Notte") is a Japanese film (2006) starring Shin'ichi Tsutsumi, Takao Ôsawa, Aya Okamoto, & Takako Tokiwa among others, and directed by Tetsuo Shinohara.
The story follows Shinji Hasebe, estranged from his father and family, and having an affair with his coworker, he finds himself somehow traveling back in time, getting caught up in a mystery that unfolds throughout time, sucking his lover down into the mess with him, this is an unusual family drama, that takes place in both our modern time and also throughout war torn Japan's past..
