This is my first video posting on YouTube.
And also this is my first real attempt at doing any kind of FX editing.

Please, before you post about how my sound clips sync with the lightsaber, I already know.
There are other places to focus any flames.

  • Why is it that he fights Jon Stewart for the first 3 seconds and then just looks like starwars kid for the next 37?

  • Because this was my first after effects project, and I didn't fully understand key frames. I rushed it over a weekend doing the 4 point mask method, it takes too long and sometimes it doesn't look right. And for some reason I decided to use the entire footage, I should have made it shorter.

  • In the comp window to on the left side of the view screen. Right Click > Import > File. Browse for sound file and hit ok. Drag sound down into timeline. I made a video response, just need a little more to finish it.

They don't have to be in any special place, just import them into your comp.

  • Did you make a new Solid and drag the saber preset onto it? Use space bar to preview video, first pass renders, second pass plays real time.

  • They need to go into \Program Files\Adobe\After Effects 7.0\Support Files\Presets\

Can't wait to see what you come up with.
