In the comp window to on the left side of the view screen. Right Click > Import > File. Browse for sound file and hit ok. Drag sound down into timeline. I made a video response, just need a little more to finish it.

Did you make a new Solid and drag the saber preset onto it? Use space bar to preview video, first pass renders, second pass plays real time.

Because this was my first after effects project, and I didn't fully understand key frames. I rushed it over a weekend doing the 4 point mask method, it takes too long and sometimes it doesn't look right. And for some reason I decided to use the entire footage, I should have made it shorter.
