Barry Harris & The Euphoria: Game of Spades

After many years as a solo artist, it's my pleasure to introduce you to the Euphoria:

My songwriting collaborator Christian Stranne also is an architect of our sound. He works with me as co-musical director.

This comes from our debut performance. This is an audience mic, so I did my best to bring the vocals up front through some EQ-ing.

I was thinking the same thing though that Jimmy said regarding the levels. Your voice seems to be overshadowed at times by the instruments but it's great. Love the music and of course your singing like always. Nice job! I notice little things because of my background in radio broadcasting and levels were always important with segues from songs to commercials back to music again.

Barry you know you have long been my favorite and I am pleased that you may be moving up with a band. Love the name Euphoria. I think even without a sound man, each instrumentalist did well to keep the levels as close as they could. Of course there is no way to turn down the volume on a good saxophone player and Justin is fabulous. Yes, you need a good microphone because it's mostly your voice that sets you apart from the rest although you can play just about any instrument. Go for AGT! -Jimmy
