Roy and me are from the same neighborhood and went to the same high school. He actually went to school with my older sisters. Roy, Glen Rice, and Terry Mills were the best in the state back then. He would have done real well in the NBA had he stayed away from the nose candy. It seems like he would have learned something from Len Bias's death
Roy Marble had so much talent. No joke, he may have been the greatest player in Iowa hoops history. Lifestyle decisions prevented him from reaching his full potential. It's sad, really....

I agree, we scrimmiged him when he played at Flint Beecher in High School..He and Terry Mills of Romulus were the states two best players.
