Short beginner tutorial on how to create professional screencast tutorials with Wink.

Wink is crossplatform and works on both Windows and Linux. Note: The versions differ, so you might not get the full set of features on Linux.

  • good job thanks for sharing

  • @TechB0id i think he used gtkScreenMyRecorer. i saw icon (:

  • How did you get the ASCii to appear when you started up Terminal?

  • What screen recorder were you using to record this video?

  • Thanks for this tutorial EdgyRootStudios. Could you advice one thing please - I want to upload tutorials of my program to my web for clients. The problem is that it looks almost unreadable on the web - is there any setting I may change in Wink itself, or is changing the screen resolution the only option? Thank you in advance!

  • Crystal clear!

  • Klasse!

    Danke dir!

  • Haha ... I was gonna say what Edgy just said ! Gimp and Kdenlive ! There's also Pitivi for video editing . Not as many functions as Kdenlive . But easy to use ^_-

  • I can recommend Kdenlive for video editing and Gimp for image manipulation. Check OSGUIShow's videos on kdenlive and mine on Gimp, if you like.

  • thats cool. im running dual boot for now ubuntu and windows but thats just because i havent found very good video and photo editing programs for linux yet//
