I've been saying it for years. 99% of all the girls on Gaia are dudes. I'm a dude and I have five accounts. Three of them are girls! Of course I don't go around cybering with dudes, I just do it because female avatars look cooler (in my opinion). I can't tell you how many times dudes come up and chat with me in my female accounts (which were originally made for my girlfriend, sister, and daughter but they stopped playing). There are only like 4 real female players on Gaia. The rest...are dudes.
