Just from looking at the photos it seems the girls lived against the castle wall on a balcony, it must have been so harsh. I love Craig y nos having been there myself.

Is the castle a hospital for sick children who contracted TB (Tuberculosis)? I'm a bit confused? What is this place and why was it abandoned? Looks like a beautiful castle. Someone should remodel and turn this castle to a museum or house? What happen in this castle that made it so FAMOUS?
