Two days after pulling the engine trans assy I finished stripping the car (with the exception of the front suspension and parking brake handle). I hope to have the chassie and all metal parts to the sandblaster
later this week or the beginning of next week.

  • Thanks for comment. I'm about 80% done with the right side which was the worst side. Engine is back from the machine shop and I need to assemble the bottom end. Biggest frustration is the low quality metal/ repair parts sold for the car. I'm shooting for end of the year. I'll get installment 4 up soon.

  • You have a lot of work ahead of you. I bet it will turn out great and look forward to future installments.

  • Wishing you great success with your restoration. My 1960 Austin Healey 3000, BT7 was completed February 2009. Looking forward to your future updates.
