Two pivotal members of the Woody Allen Jazz Band, leader Eddy Davis and pianist Conal Fowkes appear here in a live performance at the beautiful Casa Fuster in the heart of Barcelona, Spain.
The clip is taken from a 90 minute DVD containing 24 titles available for purchase by visiting www.davisfowkes.com.
The DVD also includes a bonus "extra" of a very special jam session with guest musician...... guess who?
he excerpts are "Snake Rag" by Joe "King" Oliver and "I Fall In Love Too Easily" by Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn.
Strange,is it not, that the audience of this sparkling performance appears to be quite unmoved!Have they been drugged on too much POP shite to be able to appreciate this unique pair?

Truly a great performance! I just saw this performance after seeing most of Eddy's solo vids and I'm blown away! THIS is true Americana music at its best!
Thanks Eddy and Senior Fowkes! Eddie B. Joppa, MD
p.s.
I hope the younger generation can appreciate these artists but us Baby Boomers will keep it alive! But unless this kind of music is required listening on the college/university level the youngsters will listen to their rap and hip hop. That's the way it is nowadays, Mr. Al
