@FuckingStanz why is this so hard to understand i know sony is not that good but their older models were better than what they make today i know those dvd receiver combos wattage ratings are lies and harman kardon is good but if it didi not have that high current power supply it would run into clipping quikly and the older sonys are way more reliable also
-
@thepolk1 Well at least you admitted it, cause the uploader emailed me all butthurt saying that Sony is better than Harman Kardon, lmao.
-
@thepolk1 Because a) I just read it NOW, it's not like I read it and then waited 8 months to reply, genius.
and furthermore because both you and the uploader are incredibly mistaken in thinking that a) Sony is anything other than mediocre with regards to audio, and b) that the watts on the side of the box mean anything and are there for any other reason than to mislead audio-challenged customers.
Truth hurts.

@thepolk1 because cool "Stanz" is a narcissist
-
@FuckingStanz why would even reply to an 8 month old comment dumb ass and if you hate sony so much why are you even a looking at this video can you read it says sony surround receiver
-
@FuckingStanz yo i know i was wrong man after hearing a onkyo 807 and just a entry level yamaha i know the sony was horrible so stop taking it so seriuos and stop sucking me man go get a life bitch

@thepolk1 LOL. Sony bullshits their power ratings into the sky. Those tiny little DVD/receiver combos they sell in this era TECHNICALLY push out maybe 150 TRUE watts, and they claim "1000 WATTS!!" on the side of the box. This receiver is either 100 or 110 watts per channel according to its features list. In reality, it's about 20-30 watts per channel.
You need some serious audio education. You're being dooped.

@thepolk1 Absolutely not. Sony receivers sound awful. Try Harman Kardon, Marantz, Denon, etc.
I've owned the receiver in this video, and I'm loling here. It's a digital sounding receiver with a pitiful frequency range and a high distortion rating. It's ear piercingly awful at loud volumes, it cannot push bass through large speakers, and it has virtually no highs.
Those 'decent' adjustments he metnioned in the video are built in every receiver. lol. Most receivers can do much more.

LFE-low frequency effect
Yes as does this.
