Improvised Foil Pot

I will show my method for using aluminum foil to craft a pot to cook with. I keep several sheets of aluminum foil in my survival kit always so I wanted to show you one way that I might put those to use. This is a folding method that I came up with so feel free to share any ideas that you may have.

@TheCybergopher Bottom line, I will let the videos I post speak for themselves and if you like my ideas great feel free to keep watching. If you disagree or don't like my channel because of my content or wardrobe, by all means watch another channel. Hurling insults, sarcasm and negativity just isn't helping this community of people who are here to make a positive contribution with their time and knowledge for the benefit of others. Just not enough time to spend doing that.

@thecybergopher Sir, I never said that foil would be my main method of boiling water. If you watched more of my videos you would see that I have ample gear to cook/boil in and demonstrate it in the field quite a bit. As stated, the foil was a last ditch effort in the event that all else was lost. I also show water tabs in the kit and a folding water bottle to use them (compact kit vid) I would not mind a constructive debate w/ you but the insults and profanity make this pointless to continue.

If you tried this on multiple occasions I can't believe you haven't figured this out already. in your next video make sure your hands are really cold or pretend you injured one hand before you use this method. I want to see how you fair off in your sexy camo shirt under those circumstances. (i.e real world)

Yes I have tried it before. That's exactly why I carry a small pot or at the very least a small coffee can with me now. Yes, foil may work once (Barely) but I don't bother putting crap in my kit that is only good once. You risk scalding your self for nothing. If your kit is so small that you can't have a proper tin then you will get far greater return from an oven bag and a half dozen water purifaction tabs than you will by fucking aroud with tin foil.

@TheCybergopher Have you tried this before? I have used it on multiple occasions and I KNOW first hand that it does work. This is meant to be used as a temporary solution, once maybe twice. Of course the foil will fail if it is repeatedly abused. On my next outing I will make a point to use this and post the video since you have not seen this done successfully before. I am sure you won't be seeing me with scalding water on my camo shirt though...
