Humm not to burst your bubble "George" but the reason why the dollar is streghtening right now is that loans are being called in, and most of these loansa were made in US$. Suddenly many people have to pay back money they borrowed and this is temporarily increasing the value of the dollar. Once all the obligations are met, you will see how far, and how fast the dollar collapses. You are right.. but I take it day by day..and since the dollar has been strengthening... if it weakens.. I am a seller.. no emotion.. I am a trader for a fund...just looking for trends...and you are right..the strength of the dollar has surprised everyone..

I agree. The crowd IS usually wrong. We get into a herd mentality, and run with the rest. Im someone who knows little or nothing about finance or investment, but I can see a trend over the last decade or two, of bubbles being inflated, and bursting. So, from a kind of an outsiders view point, this dollar crash is just more of the same.
