I was just reading about this famous night:
Halpin admired The Who's stamina, admitting "I only played three numbers and I was dead."

Hey guys I am currently in the process of proposing a documentary about Scot Halpin's story that night. Can anyone help me out? If you know of interviews that exist or anything else that can be used as B-roll footage I would appreciate it. Come on all you WHO fanatics!

Sounds like it would be a great doc, or even a full-length film like Detroit Rock City. And Keith could be played by Robert Downey Jr.!

The who dabbled with blues a bit-but definitely not as much as the Stones or other groups. If anything The Who never really abandoned the spirit of Jazz and to this day retain the free spirit of Jazz when performing live. hence the free form arrangements and the tangents they head off into on many songs. Like the many different ways they have expanded My Generation over the years.
