  • this song was probably not on the original set list, and was done to get the sit-in drummer started out OK. No its not Howlin Wolf-level, but Keith had just passed out on horse tranqulizers and this guy Scot Halpin was picked out of the crowd to finish the show.

    The Who needed to see if the guy could keep a tempo and smokestack is an easy blues riff. Bill Graham literally plucked the kid out of the crowd.

    No its not a great cover, but it served a purpose. Dont hate on it.
