Thank you for puppy raising!!!! We have such enormous love for what you do. Every day Ilia continues to blow us away; yesterday he stayed by Cole's side for 6 hours during a spine MRI. We would be utterly lost without him. We are so grateful!!!!

I have to say, this video brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. I am a puppy raiser for CCI, and my first dog (Who was black lab/golden) was just matched as a sevice dog this past May.

Cole & Ilia, you guys make such a fantastic team. And you are both very cute. =]

As long as the two of you are together, I'm positive you'll overcome any challenge you face.

We just saw Ilia's puppy raisers last weekend (they're from Texas.) We keep in very close contact because we are so incredibly grateful for their gift. I'm glad you liked the video, but it doesn't even come close to showing how this dog has changed my son's life. We can never, ever thank you enough! Keep on puppy raising! Big Love,

I'm crying!

I'm sitting next to my current charge, a puppy from National Service Dogs for Autism. His day is coming soon to go to a new home and sometimes I wonder why I'm doing this (I'm horribly attached to him) but seeing videos like these make me remember that this is not about me, it's about the lives he can enrich and how he will soon open up the world to a child.

i always wanted to be a puppy raiser growing up (i had a wonderful lab mix growing up and she was my first best friend) but i am very prone to being overly-attached with pets so i've given up on that as a career goal.

can people volunteer for groups like CCI?

"Tears to my eyes"? Forget it. I'm all-out blubbering. So sweet. I imagine that Mom and Dad were pretty moist-eyed watching their boy take his first dog walk, too. Bravo, Cole and Ilia. So inspirational.

i have these assholes in my building who want to kick me out for having a dog....

does anybody know of any laws that state that having dogs is not allowed?...i truly have mental issues without it....can they kick me out or can i say something...?
