Bali was just a quick stop, as we realized that we needed to make our way to Komodo or we would miss it altogether.
The TransNusa flight took us over several stratovolcanoes, the full length of Sumbawa, over Komodo, before touching down on Flores almost 2 hours later. We decided to base ourselves in Labuan Bajo, a quaint fishing town with slow internet and AWESOME prawns.

I have just spent hours watching your videos and making notes, i am going to Indonesia for my first ever time in november and these have been a great help.I am desperate for information and i realy want to go see the komodo dragon.I will be having a 13 night trip there and i am trying to sort some form of itinarry as to where to go during this time, i am so unsure. If it is not to much trouble 13 days, where would you advise?

thanks for sharing! love your work man! I went to flores in november 2007. such a nice place. the nature, the volcanoes, the scubadiving.. fantastic.
brings up many special memories.. thanks.
