January 20, 2012 Move to Amend rally in front of the Old Courthouse where corporate personhood began, First and St. James streets in San Jose, California.

In 1886, the Supreme Court began the process of giving corporations increasing power and influence in our democracy by declaring corporations as people. Since then, the Supreme Court has used corporate personhood as an excuse to give corporations access to our most cherished Constitutional rights and ever increasing control over our democracy.

MOVE TO AMEND seeks to add a 28th Amendment to the US Constitution to put an end to corporate personhood. Please join us in our effort to restore Democracy.
