Deen is good here. Many people compare Perry studio versions with Arnels live versions.If you are going to compare then go with studio to studio or live to live versions. Keep in mind that the studio versions of any songs have been cut edited and pushed to enhance vocal quality.

Deen was a great Steve perry clone, but couldn't perform as a frontman for the band. Anyway, Journey ceased to exist when Steve Perry left. on the bright side, ever since then it's been a great Tribute Band for Perry!

They should have played up Deen the way they have played up AP. I really think Deen should be lead singer for them. Deen just has it.

Yeah Jeff could hit the notes but he didn't have the sound that Deen or Arnel has. I got luv for Arnel but this clearly shows that Deen has the sound and a slightly better range than Arnel. It could've been cheaper for them to keep deen as lead and hire another drummer. Just my take on that. Happy for Arnel though. He's comin up and he deserves it. I heard he's a real nice guy.
