I actually really agree. I LOVE her CDs and I much prefer her more gentle studio voice... I don't think that she needs to work harder to sound good, necessarily, I think it's just that she adopts a different style which is toned down for the recordings. And i MUCH prefer the toned down voice - but she's still one of my favourite recording artists at the mo.

I absolutely love her songs and have listened to her album over and over again, but i heard her live in The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen just after Mr Rock & Roll came out and she wasn't too good to say the least :-( Her voice sounded so different from what it did on the album. I was very surprised.

I prefer her live to her studio album, you can actually tell that shes scottish in her live performances, the accent is removed so much on the CD

i love her and i love all of her songs...they're all amazing, but she's horrible live:S:S:S sorry guys, dont go thumbs down on me for saying this, like i said, i love her and i think that she is a great musician, she writes brilliant songs, but she has to work a bit harder so she can sound good live too...:)

She sings very well, even in live. You can appreciate how she's singing in live, so the image doesn't matter too much.
Canta muy bien, incluso en directo. Podeis apreciar como esta cantando en directo, asi que la imagen no importa demasiado.
