The reason that girl cried is because he... is an IMPOSTER!!! Plus, if it had been me that had made her cry, I would've said, "OH MY GOSH! I'M SORRY! You want my sword, my hat, and a lollipop? No? Ok, here's $2,000." ... but maybe that's just me.
