There are many great versions of a great song but for sentimental reasons this will always be my favorite.

@Elledge8 Try Jackson Browne's version. He originally wrote the song when he was very young; though it is simple, I think it finds the true heart of the song.

Heard this years ago on a split 7" they did with Dear Nora. Thanks for the nostalgia trip. Now I need to find Dear Nora's cover of Girl From The North Country.
