@Discernaoftruth - Thx so much... I had used a new pipe cleaner spiral curling technique I'd learned from the Video Locktician.

@innerbeautyfirst -Thank you! ...And you're right, I HAVE ALWAYS FELT that MY HAIR WAS BEAUTIFUL at EVERY STAGE... The thing is, though, there are always haters of something about YOUR HAIR that you have to combat with your own sense of self-pride.

Keep enjoying your sisterlocs. Glad more of us are going natural in some why or form. (I have an afro & am thinking about sisterlocs). I like all types of locs as different thickness/lengths suits different face shapes/sizes. Your locs are beautiful on you so you made the right decision for you. Do you have home made shampoo/conditioning natural products suggestions for maintaining locs? (includes eg shea butter/castor oil/avocado/jpjpba e.t.c. Thanks

@jazzbb1 - Thx for the compliment on my SLs. To answer your question, I do not have home made shampoo. I prefer to use natural products without DEA or TEA or Lauryl / Laureth Sulfates (e.g., Naked Naturals), but I do use inexpensive Suave products (e.g., Daily Clarifying and their Tea Tree shampoos) as well and of course, the Sisterlocks shampoos and conditioners.
Thanks for asking... Stay Natural!
