Diaz bro's wouldnt make more $ boxing.When u consider where the UFC is headed in 2012 w/ all the fights on Fox etc.Nick may be able to workout a nice payday in boxing and then it would fizzle out.When u take into account the bonuses Nate has received in many of his fights and the co-main status he acheived in his huge win over Cerrone, he wouldnt get the payday boxing that he gets now.Nick will be fightin for the interim belt, another big payday.The risk of boxing far outweighs the reward Period

@crookedwiretap89 Well, you can join the military, become a cop, or you can do the next best thing to prepare yourself for a street attack and learn things that you do from an MMA gym. The most important thing you learn from grappling is body positioning and feeling out the attackers movements. If there's room to strike, I'm leaving. If they grab me, years of Judo will kick in. I've been to about 8 Kravmaga classes. Theoretically breaking fingers and kicking groins gets old.

Kravmaga is street fighting BJJ is good for security guards and police cause you can restrain some one with out doing damage but your not going doing roll around if you're getting mugged or if there's a group or if he has a knife. lets face it the only thing MMA fighters are truly number one at is grappling and if you waste time grappling in the street you increases your chance of being hurt.best thing is too strike quick and fast and leave

@LIGHTNINGLEVIS MMA is not street fighting!! how manny times i gotta say this to people its a sport and not a bad sport ether but you don't fight in the street like an MMA fight quit falling for the gimmick you don't sit on a guy holding him down for 5 mins doing ground and pound in a street fight you don't throw head kicks in a street fight a good street wise guy will kick you in the nuts when you lift your leg. both boxing and MMA have elements that can be used at certain times in the street
