This week marks 10 years of Labour in charge of the health service as a Sky News survey reveals a number of health trusts are now denying treatment to patients if they smoke or are overweight. Patricia Hewitt justifies this to Adam Boulton.
Great piece! He just wasn't about to let her get away with any double talk! And, geez, that lady didn't look to terribly overweight to me! Yet, she was denied over a few extra pounds?! And the man quitting with patches, how will his doctor really know that he's quit? Nicotine will still be in his system! And after all the taxes smokers pay on the assumption that they need more medical care....tsk, tsk. LOL, really great piece.
