Pope John Paul II's funeral Rome 2005 backstage

On this video you will find images of the city of Rome during the funeral of Pope John Paul II, on April 2005. Maybe televisions didn't show that because too much focused on Saint Peter square, but in my opinion the great essence of that event has been in the pilgrims invasion of the city.
Even if it's in italian you can catch the feeling already since the second minute! Give it time to show my personal editing style.

I converted from Calvinizm to Catholicism because our Savior, Jesus Christ is with the Catholic Church. This is the truth and undeniable. If you are ouside the Catholic Chuch and denounce the Catholic faith, it is apparent that you just envy the Catholic Church. No matter how hard you try to criticize the Catholic Church, it will be the main stream of Christianity eternally as it has been since the very time of its foundation by the hand of Jesus Christ.

@RoOodOoOloOmeg It was a funeral to honor a great man in history, he united many people and helped many people in this world, many muslims, jewish, hindu liked this man, he was liked by many for many reasons, he is a great inspiration to many people so a proper funeral suits this, and if you are so concerned about helping starving people why dont you, your self do something about it?

John Paul Two showed us by his deteriorating body what it was to bear the cross of Christ. And bear the cross he did. He did it with dignity and he died in the arms of Christ with dignity.
