How to make a claymation video:
Hey guys, Im April. You may have seen our previous video about stop-motion animation. Right now we are going to show you how to do clay-mation animation. Some of the things youll need for this is: a camera on a tripod so that it doesnt move around; youll also need a trigger so that the camera stays steady while making it in a constant source of light; and of course clay, in whatever colors you want so you can have as much fun as possible. Next youll need some animated characters to star in your clay-mation. My friend, Tracy, made this cool turtle; Andy made this sporty bunny; and I made this fine and dandy rubber ducky. Once you have your scene complete, youll start moving your characters around. For every movement they make, youll take a picture. When youre editing, each picture will take up two frames. That is unless you want it more choppy and stock-motion like, then youll want it four frames for every picture. So lets have some fun, and make our little scene do its magic. Now that youve seen how simple clay-mation is, get some clay and a camera, have some fun, and see what you come up with!

  • Wow I didnt expect you to read my comment but ok I will show you one of my videos. I use Lego though because it is easier to make my characters. All of my videos actually have a mixture of claymation, sounds and chroma key. Do you want to see one of these or shall I make a more simpler one?

  • @Chromadude11 Any one that you are willing to share! :)
