@TequilaAssassin4eva no actually, its very different. 1. theres no Beyonder, Fantastic 4, Madame Web, X-men or other stupid crossovers. The show is Spiderman, its about him. 2. it uses characters from the comics and introduces them at different times (like the movies tried to, but Spectacular Spiderman to a much better effect). 3. Gwen Stacy is FINALLY the love interest and not Mary Jane. 4. Rather than have a giant cast, it develops fewer characters, but alot better. Thats just my opinion :)
