After receiving lots of user requests asking me to prepare some videos on tenses, I have decided to start with the Spanish PRESENT PROGRESSIVE or PRESENTE PROGRESIVO.

This is a basic structure for any student that needs to learn the language effectively.

  • You are very welcome!

  • Julio,

my spanish exchange friend says that soy is feeling, describing yourself and estoy is POSITIONAL.. But here you explain it as a auxiliary verb... enlighten me please...

    gracias

  • That is the problem with most language instruction, too much grammar without real meaning. If you are learning this your Spanish is at a basic level. Forget about grammar terminology and focus more on the meaning and use.

  • Gracias mucho, y viva el español treal!

  • Gracias amigo.

  • yeah, "he estado estudiando espanol" (present perfect continuous) is correct

'he estudiado espańol' = i have studied spanish

  • Can you say in spanish: I have been studying spanish 'he estado estudiando espańol or would u have to say: 'he estudiado espańol'

  • This video is very helpful, I am using it to prepare for an exam tomorrow. Thank you very much.

  • @donfajn It is one of it meanings. Partir means to divide also.

  • there is more than one way to say "to leave" in Spanish. It is like taking leave and leaving... minor nuances ... :o)

  • Gracias :)

I just learned all the food from your video and I'll start learning some verbs now.(Food's primary to me). Would you be able to give me advice which of your video's to start with? I have no clue to be honoust.

  • I thought "salir" was "to leave" not "partir"

    ???

  • "quiero aprender el idioma español. Soy inglés, y he estado estudiando inglés dos años. ¡Lo he encontrado! Hablo un poquito de español, pero creo que tu canal va a ayudarme muchísimo!

muchas gracias y espero que entiendas lo que escribo" :) you dont have to put TU or YO everytime, you can omit it. ;D
