AIDS is FUCKED UP. This is a good interview. It shows a human and humble side of DONDI. I met him a few times in Brooklyn through a mutual friend, NOC 167. You had a lot of guys who could do "real" wildstyle burners, but there was something magical about a Dondi piece. DONDI RIP!

Always a style master, his styles where so advanced, I'd love to have been born the right time and the right city to just witness a Dondi panel, or one of his whole cars, (children of the Grave) come in to a Station etc. Thank god his work was documented.. A true King. I don't care about his sexuality or anyone else's. His artwork is important to me RIP King Dondi..pZ

Not sure how he got AIDS. But he was close to Zephyr (who is an overt homosexual). Allot of graffiti writers in NYC were closet gay-boys. Not sure if Dondi was one.
