In roughly 700 B.C., the Hebrew prophet Isaiah foretold the coming of the Messiah Who would take the sins of the world upon Himself. That Messiah is Jesus! All who trust in Him receive the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life (Acts 4:12)!

  • When the Apostle Peter came on the scene, he remembered Isaiahs prophecy. He remembered that Isaiah saw it present to himself. But Peter knew that what Isaiah saw was still in existence. 1 Pet 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (KJV)

Thanks again and may God richly bless you my friend.

    Jim
