Hey, They work great in wet sand in most beaches. Especially after the tide rolls out. THe problem is when you get into water and digging holes in wet sand, water tends to fill up a hole dug in the tide line and you may have a problem locating it. I recommend digging a lot of dirt out of the hole if you have this problem.

Hey Crackbadger, been watching your videos for a long time, over a year. I finally got a ACE 250 yesterday, and watched your tips video maybe 10 time. When hunting a beach/sand, are there signals you DONT dig? I went to a beach today for an hour to mess around. Got alot of hits that were jumping all around the screen. Then got a good solid hit (i thought) and dug, and found nothing. I went back over it and it wasnt there anymore. Like it vanished. Any tips?
Thanks buddy!!

Hey Brother, Sounds like you just had moved it out of the hole, make sure when your digging you constantly check the sand you take out of the hole, I have moved targets out of the hole and then later found them on the side more than once. Ive seen items stuck in scoops that I also thought I had lost. If was a good constant signal its not likely it just vanished, you probably had a role in it. When this happens I just dig alot of dirt in the suspected area and keep scanning. Its still there.
