  • This man is my idol. I never tire of seeing his work... truly amazing.

  • He's an icon of our time.

  • The critics were quite hard on Mr. Wyeth because artist they promoted didn't get half the acolades or recognition that Andrew did.

They promote artist who throw cracked plates on to a board and call it intellectually stimulating or some crap like that and then look down on the masses of people that embrace something that moves them and call them stupid.

How many of his critics will be remembered for years to come while Andrew Wyeth will remain a legacy for a long time.

  • sure. Wyeth's an artist who moved me at the 1st sight many years ago. i wouldn't say he's a realistic or something like that artist. to me there're only two kinds of artists: good and bad. and i m definitely a fan of his.

  • we'll miss you and you'll stay in our heart forever. thanks for all the peace and elegance you brought to us.

  • I love Wyeth's work. Thank you.

  • you can always find humanity and serenity in his work.

  • Great video. Thanks for posting. I love his work. I like the loneliness of his paintings. The peace, softness and serenity mixed with a masterful touch of paranoia.

  • I thought I was looking at photographs to begin with. Makes me want to give up painting. So good, so very good.

  • No artist knew the chill and solitude of Winter like Andrew Wyeth.

  • Andrew Wyeth's pencil drawings, though usually minimal, still interest me, almost more for what they don't reveaL; he oftens hints of a full image, and leaves it in the murky middle stage, as though he conveyed some essence, and then he was no longer interested in completion. While his pencil drawings are often slight sketches, his paintings form the majority of his reputation. His Winter scenes are the best; the chill and solitude of rural places in the season.

  • welcome...visit GPABSKY.com website for the ARTIST. thank you!
