MIXMOVE 2011 - Double Awards for MixVibes

For the second year in a row MixVibes participated in MIXMOVE, Official DJ tradeshow in Paris. Over 13000 visitors during three days came to the fair to test the new products and software on the market.

During the fair the MIXMOVE TECH AWARD 2011 took place: The competition elected the best DJ products and software of the year. The jury was composed of professionals from the nightlife business who have a perfect knowledge of DJ gear.

Two of our products had been nominated by web users to be part of the MIXMOVE TECH AWARDS.

In the controller category: controllers under 600€, the U-MIX CONTROL PRO competed against the VCI-100 MK2 by Vestax and the DJ Console 4MX by Hercules.
CROSS competed against Traktor 2 by Native Instruments and Virtual DJ 7 by Atomix Production.

MixVibes won in both categories: Best DJ Software and best DJ Controller for 2011!

There wasn't any doubt regarding the results; MIXVIBES was awarded twice for the quality of the products and the technological innovation for DJ's.

CROSS was rewarded a second time at the MIXMOVE TECH AWARD 2011: As best DJ software for the second year in a row.
The U-MIX CONTROL PRO has been rewarded at the MIXMOVE TECH AWARD 2011: As best DJ controller under 600€

@DjPc3 The video is about a tradeshow called the Mixmove, it took place in Paris. Mixvibes won the competition for best software on the market and best controller under 600€. Being a Mixvibes user myself, i really love the program, and their new controller.

@risalation Hello, what do you mean by compatibility mode, like Mac and PC? If your thinking Mac and PC then yes the controller works on both!

@charlis1987 Does it work with windows 7 because it only shows that it works w/vista and xp on the package i received.

@risalation If your just starting, my best tip would be to go with just plain home theatre speakers or something simple and cheap like that, no need having expencive speakers to start out djing!

@charlis1987 Ok thanks I will probably go with Crosspack because I like the interface and file management...do you have any advice on choosing a good speaker system? I am just getting started into dj'ing so I don't know much...

@risalation Hello, i actually have tried both, Traktor and Traktor duo 2 is to my opinion a good software but it starts bugging if you really push it! MixVibes and Cross is a very good software, it is very stable and easy to use, and finally it is much cheaper then Traktor!

@charlis1987 I'm just getting into the game and trying to decide between mixvibes cross and traktor duo 2...do you have an unbiased opinion of the two? do u have experience on traktor and even if you don't what can you say about the stability of the Mixvibes program? thanks in advance...
