Customers flood into Best Buy on Boxing Day

Here's a shot of the Best Buy staff, the location on Coventry Rd., applauding and greeting the 1,000 people who waited in line all night for the Boxing Day deals. The customer flurry was intense as people bumped into products and ran around in excitement.

The newspaper headline was "Boxing Day Madness" but the video reveals a bunch of bored and rather resigned consumers that look like they are going to pay parking fines. But on the bright side, at least they weren't violent. There's a certain dignity to their grim dispositions.

@SocialKeenan That's why headlines are for stories and video titles are for videos. Once over 1,000 people were in the Best Buy and started lining up to pay or to fight over TVs it became chaotic. My guess is that's what they look like after waiting four hours in the cold... relieved, not "resigned".

Good contrast with the Black Friday sales in the US, civilized, no one falls on the ground, no one steps on people laying on the floor in pain. No one swears, or fight.
