1/4 Mile '68 NOS BBC Camaro at the 2011 Shakedown at ETown - GoPro Hero HD Roof Camera

2nd qualifying pass at the Shakedown 8.50 show in NJ 2011. 1st pass it went a 8.40 killing 6mph. We pulled .004 out of the spray, added 25 lbs and on Sunday morning I was matched up against a heavy hitter that run 168-170mph in the class. When I left the line I could not see him and kept waiting, I killed 15mph and let off @ the 1000 ft and still went a 8.59 @149 and took the finish line. He run a 8.55 @ 168mph. How fast was this engine? 8.25 @ 168 would not of been a problem! Sold the engine right out of the car! We now have a new KILLER 582 going in. This was a basic 565ci nothing trick @ all.
