  • looks pretty cool but i think its a bit hard to work with a workspace like this...

  • @3zvan I actually find it easier to work with a workspace setup this way

  • Can you do a tutorial on how to do this? the only thing I can find is SuSE Studio and I want to base mine off of ubuntu or debian, not SuSE.

  • @QsoftStudios I used Linux From Scratch as the base, which will get you the basic system installed, then "Community Driven Beyond Linux From Scratch" for some misc apps (including Xorg); compiz fusion, bbkeys, gmrun and setting hotkeys completes my non-desktop OS. It's quite a bit of effort to get it running, but the system grows with you as you use it; I haven't done a recompile since the video was made, but the system is quite different - it grew in the directions I needed as I needed it.

  • @NeoChameleon Geez Is it alot or programing? im assuming that thares alot of writing bash code

  • @QsoftStudios It's a lot of `./configure; make; make install`, really; and then google for when things break

  • @3zvan I think this would be an amazing workspace with a multi touch input device

  • That's pretty creative, as far as keeping the cube invisible. Never thought about that before but now I'm going to try it.
