A "Kiddush Hashem" is a "sanctification of Hashem aka G-d" In hebrew it have the same shoresh or root Kuf Dalet Shin, which means holy or sanctify. Interestingly the hebrew word for a stage in marraige (kiddushin) also comes from this root. So my friends, for all the men who think marraige is just a piece of paper....Its NOT! At least not for us Jews. ;-) Chag Purim Sameyach!
