Too bad no microphone could ever pick up the full roar of a British Phantom's engine. The Tornadoes were pretty noisy as well, but in a different way, more ear-shattering and less brutal and totalitarian, for lack of a better expression.

Exceptionally good video - excellent quality. Does anyone know if this clip is from a video that can be purchased somewhere?

The RR Spey were large engines and that is why the vents are open it allows more air to enter.
