R.A.F. F-4 Phantoms .(Training in the 70s with the Royal Air Force, just look at those Rolls Royce Spey burners burning in the dark.)

  • The RR Spey were large engines and that is why the vents are open it allows more air to enter.

  • Too bad no microphone could ever pick up the full roar of a British Phantom's engine. The Tornadoes were pretty noisy as well, but in a different way, more ear-shattering and less brutal and totalitarian, for lack of a better expression.

  • Thanks for visiting neu video highlights his work is a great hug from Portugal

  • Which film is this from Joe?

  • Thank you!

A truly superb video, by the way.

  • Exceptionally good video - excellent quality. Does anyone know if this clip is from a video that can be purchased somewhere?

  • nice film..too bad the RAF did not decide to use a Brit plane with similar capability...I have forgotten the designation but I am sure basicmodelling knows :)
