I never played guitar before in my life and after just one viewing of this Paul Gilbert lesson I was able to play just like him and impress my frirends.

What he doesn`t point out is that you need a guitar that has the strings and fret board in epic shape. For example, there is no way you can play this with a strat right off the rack with lincoln log strings. like the kind Stevie Ray Vaughn use to play. That is so so so important. Get an ax worked out where you can hit and bend the strings with minimal effort then you can begin to learn this shit, otherwise you are wasting your time. You will never get it. SO may new guitarists fuk up like that.
