@robertscarroll Thats why so little is known of the vikings, everything was burned just like they did to so many other cultured. destroyed them. did their best to wipe them from history. the Christians of the past were a plague, killing all and everything that wasnt christian. just to solidify more power/empire.

@robertscarroll In case you didint know the conversion wasnt peaceful, they didnt Choose to convert, least many didnt. there were several kings who went to the towns and slaughtered anyone who didnt convert. and some that stood up became heros in the sagas or other texts. it was a purging by Christians once Christ was accepted. for political reasons, to band the clans together.

Why did vikings become christians? Politics, not religion. A long store that requires heavy reading in historical books and magazines.
