Migrant workers allege abuse in Russia - 10 Feb 09

In Russia, hundreds of thousands of migrant workers are struggling to make a living. Human Rights Watch says many foreign workers face exploitation and abuse, both in and outside of the workplace.

Eugene Khartukov, Russia's leading independent energy analyst, put proven reserves at 110 billion barrels, and said Russian companies' reserves to production ratio was much lower than their western counterparts.

"Russia has reserves to keep up its production at current levels for 40 years, while with western majors (large oil companies) the figure does not usually exceed 10 years," he said.

britian north sea oil will be gone in 2 years. in about 15 years russian oil will be gone. they will import more than they export. go to wikipedia and search oil reserve for more info. let see u argue with that information.

You haven't once came up with any argument on why they aren't the second largest exporter of oil in the world. You just said you don't trust Government sources. If the Government said, "If you have something in your hand and let go, gravity will pull it to ground" do you automatically doubt it and believe it will be pulled up just because the government said it? RUSSIA IS THE 2ND LARGEST EXPORTER OF OIL IN THE WORLD AND NUMBER ONE GAS EXPORTER!

You don't know what you are talking about! From January-June of 2008 alone it exported 122.5 million metric tons (897 million barrels), It's only down 5% due to domestic use. It is still the number 2 exporter of oil in the world you donkey.
