second ad. The "beauty" monologue. Amazing push of the envelope. would never get away with this today. Pulling the ad apart: an obviously adult male voice-over spoken in an audibly sexualised tone to a seemingly naive & precocious 14/15 yr old Brooke Shields; the young male model supposedly whose thoughts are dubbed by the flirtatious monologue merely there to offset the shock of the two elements. Subtle, suggestive shock-advertising not seen since. Brilliance.

They really don't make good jeans now. I wish they made jeans like those. I am so effin' tired of jeans that show your butt crack and sag down so you have to pull them up every ten minutes. Obviously there ar high rise jeans that fit like those, but they are VERY spendy.

@Neverforgoty No no, they intended these ads to be edgy and somewhat pervy, there's no two ways about that. But that's what they wanted.

@missnovellover Still stunningly beautiful AND did so without any enhancement. When she does choose to have cosmetic procedures she will do so a lot more wisely than most women in Hollywood and look outlandishly beautiful until she's 80.
