I don't know why, but I felt the need to do something a little bit different for this one, and I hope this short film will speak for itself really.
Apologies if it seems a bit sombre, but I wanted to try and make a respectful tribute type piece to these flights, their passengers and crew; the journeys they embarked upon, but tragically never finished.
The reason I chose these particular flights is that their respective investigations all led to landmark changes and improvements being made within the airline industry, and many lives have since been saved by the lessons learned from them.
As always comments and feedback welcome.

Loved it.
Delicate atmosphere, full of respect.
Let me add just a thought to the 81 pax that on friday June 27th 1980 died in the DC9-10 Itavia I-TIGI over Tyrrenian Sea Ustica Island, during a flight from Bologna to Palermo, shoot by an air to air missile; up till now an entire country does not know by whom and why this happened during a peace time. Who knew did not speack and opposed what we now call a "rubber wall". R.I.P.

@vallesopracasa Many thanks for kind comments - I confess I didn't know about the Itavia flight, so I've been reading a bit about it. It's sad that the cause has never been found - there seems to be a theory that it got caught in the crossfire between some US and Libyan fighter jets? Lets hope one day the truth will become known.
