i stated why there wasn't enough clips of him, i had other solo's too, it's just i didn't know all the Av7 solo's so i went to Syn fan videos so that someone could list some Effing solo's, but to no avail, but either way i managed to get the clips but Windows movie maker Crapped out on me, till recently i go Adobe Studio, and when i make a new one, your welcome!

hey, about "syn's choppy tapping", dude it is because gates is not a tradicional guitarist, his solos contains rare arpeggios, for example sixth minors chords and diminished triad chords. These ones are not commonly used and they're not precisely known for being "soul", thats why you say it sounds weird but cool!! so obviously, in my point of view, it is a demonstration of an extremely rich musical tecnique.

@mrtnz0000 Fine, Maybe you're right. But it all sounds very awkward, Whether "Extremely Rich" his musical technique is, it doesn't help it's sound. For example, I'm listening to The Allman Brothers Band right now. They have great technique and Musical Technique, but their music doesn't sound awkward and sounds like it fits in place. And yet they seem to lack all those Arpeggios and Chords, I'll just stick to traditional guitar Playing where it makes sense. But thanks I learned something!

Syn can't play soulful and meaningful solos/songs? Here we go : Seize the Day, I won't see you tonight pt 1, Tension, So Far Away, Victim, Warmness on the soul, Gunslinger, Dear God. A7x plays with more speed than disturbed therefore syn is going to play with more speed. There is no doubt that syn could shred circles around donegan (scream, second heartbeat, lost, sidewinder) but syn has also proven he can (and will) play many different styles of music (all of disturbed's songs sound the same).

I feel that Syn is a better LEAD guitar player because he studied jazz and approaches the guitar from a very technical standpoint. Dan on the other hand, I feel is better at rythim playing, all of his riffs are catchy and heavy, I don't really like many of A7X's riffs, and the few that I do were written by Zacky. I'm not saying one is better than the other, that's just my opinion based on what I like and prefer.

syn took it actually kinda easy, its not like his got no feel, but the speed and the original solos syn got there are not really a match... good but... yeah. i love then both, bot of them really

Syn gates for sure! I love both of them but syn is definitely much more talanted in most ways

Dan plays with more soul. his riffs are much more difficult to play in my opinion also. Listen to anything on the believe album. syn just plays fast. dont get me wrong. hes a good guitarist. but dans better

Synyster Gates All the way. Dont get me wrong Dan is a phenomenal guitarist to but I mean, Lets face it, Syn can shred, have soul, and over all win a battle against dan.

Besides the so far away solo dan cant match the amount of pure emotion synyster put into that solo.

Syns shredding wins. But dans soul also wins. So its a draw you cant compare these two anyway they are two different types of players.
