A Zotac 9300 will boot in 8 seconds - windows XP SP3 - from power on to desktop. the bios is blazing fast. with no bios tweaking at all. I used an Intel X-25M SSD.

I'm guessing you use a notebook as your carputer?
If not how have you mounted it?

No problem for a 2.5" notebook drive either... I've been using one for more than 3000 miles now and it's still working.
