@amaraiel A similar thing happened with Leanor Ortega, saxophone player for Five Iron Frenzy. Her uncle Carlos died in early 2001, and she said it was hard for her to continue touring with the band because Carlos was like a second father to her. But, her family and bandmates encouraged her to press on and not let it get in the way of playing with FIF.

I am 99.9% sure this not live. It's just a "live video clip".
Still awesome though.

they still are pretty good live though
Tragedy struck on November 10th, 2002 when Lajon's brother, Reginald Witherspoon, was killed. Lajon heard the news via a phone call from his father five minutes before the band's performance in Minnesota.
---Basically after he got the call he went on to play and then left immediately after words to the funeral arrangements. Thats dedication for you. Sevendust>KS/E

you gotta understand, when these guys tour..they tour HARD. they play ALOT of shows, and yelling, growling, screaming, and singing 3-4 nights a week for 3-4 months straight...damn bro your voice is gonna get a little torn up.
