Both of you are wrong. A sheep dip is something which sheep are forced to walk through which contains some kind of chemical to kill disease and bacteria which they may be carrying on them.

Gervais is NOT in the pantheon of Brit comedy yet, but I stand by my comment that he took some inspiration from the Pythons. Come on....
