  • thank you, this is very helpful!

  • THX i search that :D

  • @TigerBoyUltra I want something that will fallow your exact path and stay a dozen pixels behind or so.

  • @TigerBoyUltra Check the Paper Mario videos or play the game to see that if this is that you was searching.

  • @sskorpiana i guess.

  • @TigerBoyUltra You mean, like the Paper Mario partners that follow Mario?

  • I'm making a 2D Platformer game. I used your script, and it helped a lot, but one problem is that my enemy (my zombie) follows the player up. The veiw is from the side, and I don't want my zombie to fly. Do I maybe, need to deleted the part where it says to follow the Y coordinate of the player?

  • good tutorial it filled some blanks for me :)

    few thoughts thogh:

you don't have to put that 3rd condition just go to properties on red square and uncheck vissible at start

also it would be cool if after the guy saw you the red square would go away and he keeps chasing you untill either you attack him or if he can't get to you after chasing for a certain amount of time and if he can't get to you he runs back to his original position :)

  • if you're speeding thru the code you could just use Set Position instead of the coordinates individually. Set Position> Relative to Enemy> X0 Y0

  • cool vid
